I would be so sad not to have the choice to do something different! I hope NC does see the light and change things. Women fear birth and we should not we were created for that very purpose!Deaira Dea https://www.blogger.com/profile/04285103721922054396noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5805403261386639507.post-85195558149530183952011-05-15T22:01:34.301-04:002011-05-15T22:01:34.301-04:00Thanks for the sweet comment :) Btw, I'm admir...Thanks for the sweet comment :) Btw, I'm admiring all your creative posts here so can you please share them with us at the Creative Bloggers' Party & Hop? She needed to see women banding together in support of each other's rights<3 I had a hard hospital birth with Keelin (interventions out the wazoo), an unmedicated hospital birth with Jackson that I had to fight for, and this baby will be born at home if everything continues to go well. Women deserve options and to be educated on them... not forced into a hospital OB birth because that's all their insurance will cover :(

Crystal, I totally agree with you!

Amanda, thanks for stopping by!

Dianna, homebirths are legal. Certified Nurse Midwives are also legal, but they are really expensive and hard to come across, since most CNMs work in hospitals only. In NC, you can have a homebirth, but a Certified Professional Midwife risks jail time for attending you... although they are affordable, incredibly experienced, and specialize in homebirths! It's a sad state of affairs :(Dustihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08348673503110151709noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5805403261386639507.post-17514345473401424102011-05-15T18:03:49.880-04:002011-05-15T18:03:49.880-04:00Hi, I am visiting from the Sunday blog hop and I a...Hi, I am visiting from the Sunday blog hop and I am now following you, I would love for you to stop by my blog anytime http://shandassweepsandfreebies.blogspot.com/pegasus_aprilof84https://www.blogger.com/profile/01271753891517135849noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5805403261386639507.post-31547373135950294452011-05-15T16:05:56.675-04:002011-05-15T16:05:56.675-04:00So that makes home birth basically illegal in NC? ...So that makes home birth basically illegal in NC?
