Laundry... How do you manage it!?

Good Morning! It doesn't feel much like a Monday morning, because Keelin spent last night with her Mimi (her dad's mom) since she has no school today. I forgot to turn off my alarm, so I've been up since 6:30am!

We missed Keelin! She's our sunshine :)

The babes were watching a Thomas the Train movie while I folded laundry.

LAUNDRY!

It's a 4 letter word at our house!

There are 5 of us, Finn in cloth diapers full time and Jackson wearing a couple a day still.

I love washing cloth diapers.
No joke!

But the clothes? Ugh, it's a never-ending ordeal that makes me want to become a nudist, if only to avoid the laundry!

I do a bunch of laundry a couple of days a week, but there may be a better way! How do you keep up with your laundry? Are you satisfied with your method? :) And even better, what kind of eco-conscious soap do you use?

We too are a family of 5. I put in a load in the morning and a load at naptime. Then the kids "help" me put it away after nap/snack time. It took me a long time to get into that pattern, but it has become second nature now. We usually make our own detergent, but if we don't we use ECOS from Costco:)

I also feel the laundry is never ending.. and we're only a family of 3! The cloth diapers don't bother me either, why is this? I try to do a couple loads a day instead of leaving it all to a couple days a week, that way it doesn't feel as overwhelming.

We make our own washing soap... as for the laundry We are a family of 8 and I am in charge of laundry.. we do all the loads that are in the baskets, then we hang them out on the line to dry, then every kid folds their own clothes except for our 2 and 4 year old. That way it all gets done :)

Bummer! Just missed the giveaway! It had been a bit since I'd been to your blog! If I can do a load a day, I can stay caught up...even with sheets, towels, curtains etc. Occasionally, I might need to do two loads a day, but one load a day can keep me caught up, even with the diapers! Sometimes I make my own detergent, sometimes I don't; depends on if I got pre-made on sale or not! :)
