This morning, we lost a chicken. A couple of weeks ago, I bought 4 grown Araucana hens (that included Keelin and Jackson's special hens, Reeses and Big Bird, respectively) from someone else. One was acting funny yesterday and this morning, she was no longer with us.
Tim disposed of her body. I say "her," because we couldn't come up with a name to suit her.
In honor of the unnamed spotted chicken that is no longer living, we named the other two hens that were previously unnamed. Along with Reeses and Big Bird, we now officially have Blink and Goldilocks.
Rest in peace, little black and white spotted chicken.
